Purpose

PeptideBasics101 exists for general awareness. It collects publicly available information from across the internet and keeps it in one place for research and entertainment purposes only. Nothing on this site is intended for human or veterinary use.

Nothing here is medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Doses shown are those reported by the cited trials or product labels. They are historical facts about those studies, not recommendations. Statements here are our summaries of public sources and have not been reviewed or endorsed by the FDA or any regulatory body. This is information gathering, not guidance.

No sales, no endorsements

We sell nothing and endorse no vendor. Mention of a product, brand or trade name is for identification only. Trade names belong to their owners.

How we source

Trial data comes from ClinicalTrials.gov and published papers. Regulatory status comes from FDA labels, the FDA 503A bulk drug substances list, warning letters and import alerts. Each article lists its sources and shows two dates: when its data was last refreshed and when a person last reviewed it. Blends and products with no registered trials say so.

Corrections

If a page contradicts a primary source, tell us which page and which source and we will fix it or explain why not.

Privacy

We store the reader's Plain English / Scientific preference in their own browser. Fonts load from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address. Cloudflare hosts the site and sees standard request logs. The site may show third-party advertising, which is subject to the advertiser's own policies. Questions asked to the site assistant, Sergeant Pep, are sent to a third-party AI provider to generate the answer. The provider name and retention period will be published here before the assistant goes live.

We aim to be right and cite everything, but we make mistakes. Use the sources, not us.
